Quotations and project scope

Work begins only after the price, included pages, features and expected content have been agreed in writing. The £399 starter price applies to the package described on this website. Extra pages, specialist functions, paid software, domain names and hosting are quoted separately.

Payment

A 50% deposit books the project and allows work to begin. The remaining balance is due after final approval and before the completed website is published or transferred. Deposits are normally non-refundable once design work has started.

Client content

The client is responsible for supplying accurate business details and confirming that they have permission to use any logos, photographs, text, trademarks or other material provided for the website.

Timescales and feedback

A straightforward starter website normally takes around one to two weeks once the required content has been received. Delays in supplying information, approvals or feedback may move the completion date.

Changes

The starter package includes one round of reasonable changes to the agreed design and content. New pages, major redesigns or functions outside the agreed scope may require a separate quotation.

Domain, hosting and third-party services

Domain registration, hosting and third-party subscriptions are separate unless a quotation says otherwise. Where possible, these accounts are set up in the client's name. Goodform is not responsible for outages, price changes or policy changes caused by an external provider.

SEO and business results

Essential on-page SEO provides a sound technical foundation, but no particular Google position, amount of traffic, sales or number of enquiries can be guaranteed.

Approval and launch

The client must check names, contact details, prices, spelling and other business information before approving the website. Approval confirms that the site is ready to publish.

Ownership

Once the final payment has been received, the client may use the completed website and supplied starter logo for their business. Goodform retains ownership of its reusable working methods, tools and general code components. Third-party assets remain subject to their own licences.

Liability

Goodform will take reasonable care when providing the service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability connected with a project is limited to the amount paid for that project and does not include indirect loss, lost profit or loss caused by third-party services. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
